Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Roam. They are written to be read rather than skimmed past. If something here seems unfair, write to us and say so.

What we do

You upload photographs or a short video of a space. We use them to generate a three-dimensional tour of that space, host it, and give you a link, an embed code and a QR code. HD tours also include a 15-second portrait MP4, rendered separately after the tour is ready. The video is a camera pan through the generated panorama.

Your photographs stay yours

You keep every right you had in the images you upload. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your files, process them, generate a tour from them, and display that tour to people you share it with.

Roam does not train models on your uploads. We process them with the service providers listed in our privacy policy. Your published share page can display your source photos as well as the generated tour. Generation is performed by World Labs, whose terms also apply to that step.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. If the photographs were taken by a photographer you hired, check what your agreement with them permits.

Your tours are yours

You own the tours generated from your images. You may use them commercially subject to applicable rights and provider terms. Embedding requires a destination that accepts custom iframe embeds. Accounts on the free and per-tour plans display a small “Made with Roam” credit on the share page; the Pro plan removes it.

Paying

• Free previews. Every account gets 3 draft tours, free, no card. Drafts are lower quality on purpose — they exist so you can judge the result before paying.
• Per tour. $19 for one high-definition tour. One-off payment, no subscription.
• Pro. $79 per month. Cancel any time and it stops at the end of the period you have paid for. Each paid month adds ten HD generation credits. Unused paid credits remain in your account.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

If a tour comes out badly

Generation is imperfect. Results depend heavily on your photographs — a set covering one room from several positions in good light works well; photographs of several different rooms in one batch usually do not.

If you pay for a tour and are not happy with it, tell us and we will refund it. No form, no argument. Email micky@strikingventures.com.

Fair use

Do not use Roam to:

• upload images you do not have the right to use;
• misrepresent a space — for example presenting a generated tour as an unedited photographic record of a property in a way that misleads a buyer or tenant;
• upload unlawful content, or anything depicting people who have not consented;
• attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer or resell the generation service itself.

On the second point specifically: a generated tour is a reconstruction, not a survey. It infers parts of a space the camera never saw. Do not present it as a measured or complete record, and do not rely on it for anything requiring accuracy, such as dimensions.

Availability

We will keep the service running and your tours online, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Generation depends on a third-party API that may be slow, rate-limited or temporarily unavailable. If we ever have to shut down, we will give you notice and time to download your assets.

Ending it

Request account closure by emailing micky@strikingventures.com. We will handle deletion of your uploads and tours as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend an account that breaks the fair-use rules above, and will explain why.

Liability

We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
