Rule out a loading problem
Let the viewer finish loading and retry if it reports an error. Compare the same tour on another connection or device. If only one device struggles, regenerating the scene may not solve the problem.
If the tour consistently fails to load, contact Michael with its link and the device and browser you used. Do not send passwords or payment details.
First, compare the source photos with the tour
Open the original file at full size. Look at a door frame, a chair edge and a patterned surface. If those details are already soft, a screenshot or compressed download may be your starting problem. Ask for the original camera files instead.
Roam now checks the selected reconstruction photos on your device before you sign in or upload. It flags exact duplicate files, small dimensions and incompatible shapes. It does not judge whether the photos are sharp or whether they show the same room; those still need your review.
Separate a soft image from an incorrect room
A distorted doorway or furniture merged into a wall is a geometry problem. Check whether the source set mixes different rooms, an exterior with an interior, or photos taken before and after furniture moved. More pixels alone will not resolve contradictory evidence.
Use one connected area with shared features visible in adjacent photographs. Keep other rooms and exterior photos in the gallery, or create a separate tour for them. Roam lets you choose how many photos build the scene and move that set to the front.
- Use original photos rather than screenshots from a listing.
- Remove duplicate views that add no new information.
- Keep lighting, furniture and camera orientation consistent.
- Choose the source set deliberately; eight unrelated images are not better than four connected views.
Check whether the view improves when you return to the start
A scene may look convincing from its capture area and break down when you move behind furniture or around a corner. Those surfaces may never have appeared in the input. Return to the starting view and compare again.
Roam starts in look-around mode. Use that to inspect the room, then deliberately switch to moving through it. If a camera move exposes a weak area, choose a more useful viewpoint when sharing or recording. This improves presentation; it does not repair missing geometry.
Choose the next attempt based on the problem
If the original files are small, replace them before regenerating. If the layout is confused, narrow the scene and improve overlap. If you have a true full-sphere panorama, try it on its own rather than mixing it with flat photographs.
If a free draft is coherent but lacks detail, an HD generation is a reasonable next result to evaluate. It is still a fresh AI interpretation and can change details. Compare it before publishing, especially for a hotel room or property listing.
When a different workflow is the better answer
For a faithful view from fixed positions, use original 360° photography in a panorama tour. For documented room connections or measurements, consider a capture-based scanning service. An AI interpretation from a few listing photographs should not be used as a measured floor plan.
